.......... Sander Hicks, along with many others from the ranks of the 9/11 Truth movement, attended the 9/11 Accountability Conference in Chandler, Arizona, this past February 23-25. There, he met the idiot-braggart and 9/11-official-version-advocate Stephen Lemons, whose blog makes it plain that there's no question with Lemons—as there is with Frank Rich—as to whether he's a gatekeeper who's just acting dumb or whether he really is dumb.
..........When Sander learned that the Phoenix New Times had assigned none other than Stephen Lemons to cover the 9/11 Conference, he was understandably less than happy, and he wrote a cogent, articulate, and carefully reasoned letter to the Editor-in-Chief of the New Times, Rick Barrs.
..........I urge you to read Sander's letter, which you can do by clicking here. After that (if you haven't already), read Stephen Lemons' appalling and nasty blog entry.
..........Then decide for yourself who's on more solid ground, Hicks or Lemons, who's the more articulate, who's got the stronger arguments—keeping in mind who is and who isn't the author of an important and original book about 9/11 truth, and who is and who isn't the author of a new and equally important article on AlterNet about Mohammad Atta as a patsy for the CIA.
..........Once all is done, write letters to Rick Barrs, and write them also to the slick-talk loser of this particular and extraordinarily important argument, Stephen Lemons.

..........You've probably—although not through the New York Times—already heard the news about the BBC man who broadcast live, on the afternoon of 9/11/01 itself, that World Trade Center tower 7 "had collapsed or was collapsing," while that very building remained (over the newsman's shoulder) visible to viewers around the world, still standing stalwart and strong. I first saw this piece of news on Alex Jones's Prison Planet.com, where it still appears, now with additional visuals. If you like, you can also take a look here.
..........Why is this big news? Well, because it shows that the BBC was not reporting events as they unfolded. And that would mean? Well, that the BBC must have been reporting from a script of some kind that had been provided in advance of events.
..........In a normal world, evidence of this kind could be enough to crack a criminal case and convict the perpetrator. Is our world any longer so normal even as that?
..........Watch closely to find out whether the BBC scandal takes hold or, more likely, is "disappeared" from all mainstream news. Meanwhile, go to this site and read the Paul Craig Roberts piece there, entitled "Americans Have Lost Their Country."
..........It may well enough be true that it's already too late, but I'm against giving up. Here's what people must do: Study the truth, read the truth, tell the truth, insist on the truth. What I mean is the truth in plain words, again and again, until it can no longer be hidden, denied, or refuted.

..........Finally, more good news and bad, just as Sander Hicks brings good news, Stephen Lemons bad. The good here is that Tikkun magazine, under the editorship of Rabbi Michael Lerner, has published a long essay by David Ray Griffin called "The American Empire and 9/11." This is a significant piece of news—a courageous gesture at least of seriously entertaining the truth if not necessarily (yet?) embracing it. Tikkun and its editor show here a level of seriousness and independence in journalism of a kind no longer visible in, say, the New York Times. Imagine—just imagine—the deceitful and sneering gatekeeper Frank Rich doing even half as much, a quarter, a sixteenth.
..........Griffin's piece takes up the very great question of exactly what time it really was when Dick Cheney, the morning of 9/11, actually entered the "PEOC" under the White House (PEOC means Presidential Emergency Operations Center). There are three "versions" of what that time was—or, perhaps, there are two lies and one truth—and the high significance of the timing has to do with whether Cheney was or was not there in time to give the order to allow the Pentagon to be attacked. Other even more criminal and more incriminating Cheney questions may also have to do with this question of entry-time into the PEOC.
..........In Tikkun we're lucky, and in another thing we're also lucky: And that good luck is that none other than the wonderful Sherwood Ross has devoted a piece to Griffin and hence to these very questions about Cheney, PEOC, and exact times.
